SaguaroHaus began as a renovation project and became something closer to an obsession. The goal was never to create a vacation rental. It was to create the kind of home that makes you feel different inside it — slower, more present, more aware of the quality of light at 4pm and the sound of silence at midnight.

The interiors were assembled over time, not ordered from a catalog. The dining table at the center of the house was built by hand in downtown Los Angeles from reclaimed wood — a single piece that anchors the room and carries its own history. The wool rugs underfoot were hand-knotted in Morocco. The cane chairs, the carved wood side tables, the ceramic vessels on the open shelving — each piece was chosen because it earned its place.

The kitchen carries the same intention. GE Café appliances throughout — the matte white double gas range, the French door refrigerator — all with brushed bronze hardware that reads as jewelry against the warm wood cabinetry. The arc faucet. The Aesop on the counter. The woven pendants overhead. None of it accidental.

The architecture of the property is defined by its relationship to the desert. Glass sliders dissolve the boundary between inside and outside. The teak deck extends the living room into the open air. The corrugated steel fence — a material choice that is both architecturally intentional and functionally complete — encloses the entire property, giving guests total privacy from arrival to departure.

Three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. A private heated pool with Baja lounge shelf. A hot tub. A fire pit. A soaking tub in the master suite. Starlink internet. EV charging. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

SaguaroHaus is located in Joshua Tree, California — 2.5 hours from Los Angeles, minutes from the north entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, close to Pioneertown and the Integratron. The night sky here has zero light pollution. The sunrises are unreasonable.
